| Steve Byrne, Chief Executive, Travel Counsellors

"We are a business that knows why we exist: we exist to care more than anyone else. It sounds a bit corny, it sounds a bit trite. You don't have to believe a word from me. But that's why we exist."Most businesses don't know why they exist. If we disappeared, would it matter to our customers? Absolutely, it would matter."

We are a family business first and foremost, we've never been heavily leveraged and we've never wanted to be."We've got 25 sites in the UK and have got 10 franchises - that's going to double in the next 18 months.
